You've gotta' love the print ads for the RCA TK-42 Color Television Camera. They sold TV equipment the same way they sold cars and everything else, put a babe in the shot!
What I really love about these ads though is how well they were produced. This one is printed on card stock and has harldy yellowed in over 40 years. This is an unretouched scan.

This is the obverse of the previous page, touting the wonders of the TK-42. To their credit, these were good looking cameras and the claims about them are all true. If you have ever seen a good quality recording of a show shot with two or three of these beauties, you know what I am talking about.
I have been told by senior engineers at the station that the EM used these cameras for a time.

This is before my time and looks like a reproduction, so I cannot attest to its accuracy. It looks pretty good though.

This is the WBZ pattern I remember growing up. This aired into the 1980's and, like virtually all patterns of that era, had a slide as a source.
